1. Introduction
To tackle complex and challenging spinal conditions and provide a platform for academic exchange focusing on spinal disease, a multiple disciplinary team (MDT) was established by Prof. Jian Fengzeng. This MDT consists of neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuropathologists, radiologists, hematologists, radiotherapists, and chemotherapists. Additionally, other experts in different areas will be invited to participate in the discussion if necessary. This MDT meets regularly to discuss work so that each patient has a care plan best suited to their individual needs. Moreover, this platform facilitates academic exchange focusing on spinal disease. To date, many complex spinal disorders have been successfully managed by our MDT, and it has evolved into a platform for professional academic exchange.
