1. Introduction
The precision diagnosis and treatment center for nervous system diseases of Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University is specialized for the diagnosis and treatment of various complex, complicated, and rare neurological disorders. It also integrates medical treatments, scientific researches, disease prevention, big data, and personnel training. Taking together the departments of neurology, neurosurgery, interventional neuroradiology, rehabilitation, neuroradiology, neuropathology, neuropharmacology, neuro-biochemistry, neuro-electrophysiology monitoring, gene, and cellular diagnosis, Xuanwu Hospital is aimed at forging the national ‘ultimate diagnostic and treatment institution’ for nervous system diseases. Aided by the technology of robotic stereotactic biopsy to obtain the pathological diagnosis as the gold standard, the center established a consultation paradigm supported by clinical neurology, radiological diagnosis, and (neuro) pathological diagnosis to achieve one-stop diagnosis and treatment，to ensure the patient receives high-level treatment in time.
