Research Interests
Image-Guided Surgery
Background
Dr. Ye Li is a Neurosurgeon at Xuanwu Hospital and Lecturer of Surgery at Capital Medical University. In 2013, he received the fellowship from China Scholarship Council to study in Surgical Planning Laboratory of Harvard Medical School. He joined Xuanwu Hospital in 2016 to start his faculty career.
Dr. Li’s clinical practice is focused on image-guided neurosurgery with special interests in surgery for patients with brain tumors, particularly those whose disease is intimately involved with critical brain regions.
Dr. Li’s research involves the development and application of preoperative and intraoperative imaging techniques to optimize surgical treatment of neurosurgical patients with brain tumors. His research is highly translational and uses structural, functional and molecular imaging techniques to improve neurosurgical planning and intraoperative decision-making.
