Neuromodulation treatment for movement disorders (Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, dystonia); surgical management of refractory epilepsy (ablation, resection, neuromodulation)


Background

Dr. Liang Qiao obtained his M.D. degree from Shanxi Medical University (China) in 2002 and Ph.D. degree from the University of Utah (USA) in 2007. After graduation, he returned to China and worked at Beijing Institute of Functional Neurosurgery. He has practiced as a neurosurgeon and conducted clinical research at Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University since 2007. Dr. Liang Qiao specializes in functional neurosurgery, particularly the surgical management of refractory epilepsy and movement disorders (Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, dystonia, et al.).
