Background

Dr. Ma Kai was born in Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, and completed his primary to senior high school studies in Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province. From 1989.09 to 1994.07, and from 1998.9 to 2003.7, he successfully completed undergraduate to doctoral studies at Shandong Medical University and Capital Medical University, and obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. degree. From 1994.7 to 1998.8, Dr. Ma entered the neurosurgery department of The Second Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi Medical University, and in the following 4 years he completed his clinical training in  subspecialties of neurosurgery department. In 2003.07, Dr. Ma entered the functional neurosurgery center of Xuanwu Hospital. From 2003.7 till now, he became a member of functional neurosurgery team of their department. He focused on epilepsy, cranial nerve disorders, cerebral palsy, motor disorders, and neuropathic pain.
