Icon Gamma Knife officially launched

The Department of Radiology provided 3.0T magnetic resonance and 128-slice CT with image support for precise positioning. The Department of interventional radiology fully supported total cerebral angiography for the positioning of vascular architecture of cerebrovascular malformations. The Department of Information ensured efficient and efficient image transmission, and the medical engineering environment assessment and equipment guarantee. The treatment of arteriovenous malformation and meningioma in corpus callosum was successfully completed on the first day. The whole treatment process was safe, painless and achieved satisfactory curative effect.

Indications of Gamma knife 

• Intracranial medium and small benign tumors: acoustic schwannoma, trigeminal schwannoma, pituitary adenoma, meningioma, craniopharyngioma;

• Intracranial vascular malformations: arteriovenous malformation, arteriovenous fistula, cavernous hemangioma in cavernous sinus area, cavernous hemangioma;
