As the leader of the sub-topic "Non-invasive Minimally Invasive Treatment and Evaluation of Major Brain Diseases under Integrated PET/MR Guidance", Director Tang Jie of the Department of Neurosurgery has defined the technical route of the research task to provide guidance on non-invasive minimally invasive treatment of Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, intractable epilepsy and malignant brain tumors. Specifically, based on the imaging of amino acid PET, the traditional imaging technology, based on the use of tracers such as PET to capture abnormal tumor metabolic information, accurately determine tumor boundaries and intratumor heterogeneity, providing more accurate treatment guidance for surgical treatment, stereotactic biopsy, laser interstitial thermotherapy, stereotactic radiotherapy, etc. It will effectively improve treatment efficiency, reduce complications, and provide help to patients with malignant neurological tumors. It also provides precise guidance for precise non-invasive minimally invasive treatment of Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's and refractory epilepsy, and will effectively improve the precision of treatment of the above functional diseases.
